LITTER BAGS FURNISHED!

Lake Cumberland has over 1,200 miles of beautiful shoreline. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers does not have the resources (money and personnel) to maintain a litter and debris free shoreline. Friends of Lake Cumberland are needed to assist the Corps of Engineers.

Friends of Lake Cumberland seek to assist the Corps of Engineers in maintaining the natural beauty of Lake Cumberland through removal of debris and litter from the shoreline; promote the new "Adopt-A-Shoreline" program; cultivate public interest in maintaining a litter free shoreline; and enhance the Image of Lake Cumberland as a local recreation and tourist attraction in Central Kentucky.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

(1) Participate in the cleanup
(2) Encourage friends and groups to join you.
(3) Make a tax deductible contribution to the Friends of Lake Cumberland.
(4) Adopt-A-Shoreline
